Our third graders enjoyed an exciting field trip around the city, where they learned about the important jobs and services that help keep our community running smoothly! Students had the opportunity to learn about the roles of our police departments, mayor, EMS, 911 Center, Reading by Cheryl Miller, City Council, library and fire department while discovering how these community helpers serve and protect us every day.
This hands-on experience brought learning to life as students explored local government, public safety, and the many ways people work together to make our community a wonderful place to live. What a great day of learning beyond the classroom
