Third grade visited the Clay Center on their field trip! They explored dams and levees in "water works", how the body works and levers and pulleys in "healthy me", created music masterpieces as well as amazing creations in inventions lab. They climbed the Ashton's climbing sculpture that was as tall as the 3 stories! Students learned about Dinosaurs in Antarctica in the planetarium. They learned all about Thomas Edison's secret invention lab. Students also interacted with a variety of areas in My Town as well. They ended their day at the Art museum where they viewed many beautiful pieces of artwork, the traveling Guitar exhibit as well as the interactive Art Space.
