Gail Varney recently visited with the 2nd grade class to talk about quilts. They are studying western expansion and have been learning about quilting. Mrs. Varney brought in squares for the students to sew together. She then put it together as their class quilt. The students then tacked it. She shared with the students about the history of quilts. She also read aloud a book related to all they are learning. Thank you, Mrs. Varney for sharing with our students in such a meaningful way!
